Abstract
The main goal of this study is to examine the role of women parliamentarians in13th National Assembly of Pakistan. The participation in political process has been recognized a fundamental right of each citizen regardless of their gender, cast, and creed. Pakistan’s all three constitutions provided for the reservation of seats for women, however this clause expired in 1988.It was restored in 2002 with 17% representation in the parliament. This study contends that Women Parliamentarians made major contributions in the 13th National Assembly of Pakistan. They brought up gender-specific issues and regulations affecting women.
