DESIGN, SIMULATION & TRAJECTORY GENERATION ON SOLIDWORKS AND COPPELIASIM OF A 3-DOF ROBOTIC CERAMIC PRINTER
Main Article Content
Abstract
This literature presents a comprehensive study focused on the design and simulation of a ceramic 3D printer, leveraging the capabilities of SolidWorks, a prominent computer-aided design (CAD) software, and CoppeliaSim a versatile robotics simulation platform. The primary objective of this study is to create a virtual model of a ceramic 3D printer and rigorously evaluate its motion capabilities within a simulated environment. Upon completion of the design process using SolidWorks, the model is seamlessly exported and subsequently imported into CoppeliaSim, a versatile robotics simulation software renowned for its efficacy in simulating complex robotic systems. The integration of SolidWorks and CoppeliaSim synergistically facilitates the meticulous design and in-depth evaluation of the ceramic 3D printer's capabilities. The virtual model realized within CoppeliaSim yields invaluable insights into the ceramic 3D printer's motion capabilities. These insights serve as the cornerstone for further refinements and optimizations in the printer's design.
